We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Accounts Team in Badshot Lea. You will be reporting direct to Purchase Ledger Supervisor and work with team of five.
The ability and willingness to be flexible in a changing environment is essential.
A working knowledge of Access Dimensions would be beneficial. Fixed Term Contract - 12 months Rota: Full time, 40 hours
Main duties and responsibilities:
Code and enter purchase invoices.
Code and enter overhead invoices
Match invoices to PO on WinRetail, sort out any quantity or pricing issues then pass invoices.
Raise credit requests and debit notes to the relevant supplier, enter onto Access Dimension
Print out statement checklist, mark received statements and chase up any missing invoices.
Check through statements and identify missing invoices/credits and request copies.
Prepare monthly purchase ledger accruals.
Produce audit reports for key suppliers and reconcile to purchase ledger accounts.
File and scan invoices monthly.
Sort post and emails daily.
Answer office phone and when required reception phone.
Carry out any other administrative tasks as required.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for people:
· Have excellent Excel skills
· Proven experience of working in an accounting administration role within a retail environment is essential
· Excellent oral and written communication
· Organised, self-disciplined with a positive, collaborative attitude and able to work under pressure
· Ability to deliver high level of accuracy, in a timely fashion with attention to detail
· Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

Retirement – After 15 years service if you are retiring and have over 15 years service, your contracted hours will be reduced by a fifth but your pay will remain the same for your final 3 months.
